"The Basketball Sketchbooks explores the dynamic relationship between repetition and minimalism.

 

With fractal art as a primary influence, these works are generated using a simple formula and a reduction approach.

 

Since the age of 7 years old, my love with basketball could be defined as obsessive and as an artist, my portfolio is heavily saturated with sports landscapes that demonstrate my obssession. 

 

This collection was an attempt to step outside of my box of straight photography and use the power of repetition in a bold and colorful way.

 

My philosophy is that worlds can change through repetition. We can create new realities and dramatically improve the quality of our lives. 

 

Because basketball is a passion, these works were created using two basketball images, lots of care, appreciation for repetition, and a simple math formula. They are intentionally infused with a prosperity consciousness that will impact the viewer long after I am no longer around."
